Gold Investment Funds’ Total Assets Reach EGP 9.28 Billion by End of March 2026 – Tuesday 14 April 2026

Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) has announced that the Net Asset Value (NAV) of gold investment funds surged to EGP 9.28 billion by the end of March 2026. This capital is managed across 289,000 investment accounts.

Data reveals that retail investors dominate the sector, holding 72% of total accounts, with institutional investors comprising the remaining 28%. Within the retail segment, a gender breakdown shows that male investors represent 83% of account holders, while females account for 17%. Notably, the 20 – 30 age demographic emerged as the primary driver of growth, capturing a 39.8% market share.

Currently, the Egyptian market includes six active gold investment funds.
