FRA’s reports revealed that total funding allocated through capital market and non-bank financial activities reached EGP 851.4 billion during the period from January to August 2025, as follows:

EGP 457.8 billion Stock Issuances

EGP 60.1 billion other issuances

EGP 106.2 billion Financial leasing contracts

EGP 68.2 billion funding provided for MSMEs

EGP 56.7 billion consumer finance

EGP 77.3 billion factoring activity

EGP 25.1 billion real estate finance

• EGP 3.9 trillion is the value of movable assets registered at Egyptian Collaterals Registry by the end of August 2025.
• MSME finance balances reached EGP 91.4 billion
• Insurance premiums had amassed a total of EGP 77.5 billion by the end of August 2025.
• Compensations paid by the insurance sector reached EGP 40.1 billion during the same period.
• Private insurance funds’ Investments reached EGP 19.9 billion by the end of August 2025.

The latest reports issued by the Financial Regulatory Authority during the period from January to August 2025 regarding the insurance sector showed that the total value of insurance premiums amounted to EGP 77.5 billion.

Property and liability insurance premiums amounted to EGP 43.5 billion and premiums of life insurance amounted to EGP 34.0 billion by the end of August 2025.

Moreover, compensations value reached EGP 40.1 billion, distributed as follows: compensations of property insurance amounted to 18.7 billion and compensations of life insurance reached EGP 21.4 billion.
