FRA’s latest reports, October to December 2023, showed that the total funding granted through Capital Market and non-bank financial activities amounted to EGP 415.85 billion as follows:
• EGP 284.3 billion Stock Issuances
• EGP 38.6 billion other issuances (Bonds, securitization, corporate bonds)
• EGP 38.95 billion Financial leasing contracts
• EGP 23.6 billion funding provided for MSMEs
• EGP 14.2 billion consumer finance
• EGP 12.5 billion factoring activity
• EGP 3.7 billion real estate finance
• EGP 2.5 trillion is the value of movable assets registered at Egyptian Collaterals Registry during the 4th quarter of 2023.
• MSMEs funding balances reached EGP 57.1 billion during the 4th quarter of 2023
• Insurance premiums had amassed a total of EGP 19.1 billion during the 4th quarter of 2023.
• Compensations paid by the insurance sector reached EGP 10.4 billion during the same period.
• Private insurance funds’ Investments reached EGP 4.1 billion during the 4th quarter of 2023
FRA’s latest reports issued for the period starting from October to December 2023 shows that insurance premiums amounted to EGP 19.1 billion
Premiums of property insurance reached EGP 10.2 billion, whereas premiums of life insurance amounted to EGP 8.95 billion during the 4th quarter of 2023.
Moreover, compensations value reached EGP 10.4 billion during the 4th quarter of 2023, distributed as follows : compensations of property insurance amounted to EGP 5.7 billion and compensations of life insurance reached EGP 4.7 billion
It is worth mentioning that :
• Property and liability insurance safeguards physical belongings, like houses, cars, businesses, and other valuables, from damage or loss caused by events like fire, theft, or natural disasters.
• Personal insurance and wealth formation encompass various types of insurance, including life insurance, death insurance, accident insurance, and other forms of coverage.
