FRA’s latest reports, for February 2024, showed that the total funding granted through Capital Market and non-bank financial activities amounted to EGP 120.8 billion as follows:
- EGP 96.4 billion Stock Issuances
- EGP 1.3 billion other issuances
- EGP 6.3 billion Financial leasing contracts
- EGP 8.1 billion funding provided for MSMEs
- EGP 3.5 billion consumer finance
- EGP 4.0 billion factoring activity
- EGP 1.2 billion real estate finance
- EGP 2.5 trillion is the value of movable assets registered at Egyptian Collaterals Registry by the end of February 2024.
- MSMEs funding balances reached EGP 61.1 billion
- Insurance premiums had amassed a total of EGP 6.8 billion during February 2024.
- Compensations paid by the insurance sector reached EGP 3.7 billion during the same period.
- Private insurance funds’ Investments reached EGP 4.1 billion during February 2024
FRA’s latest reports issued for February 2024 shows that insurance premiums amounted to EGP 15.1 billion
Premiums of property insurance reached EGP 3.7 billion , whereas premiums of life insurance amounted to EGP 3.1 billion by the end of February 2024.
Moreover, compensations value reached EGP 3.7 billion by the end of February 2024 , distributed as follows : compensations of property insurance amounted to EGP 1.6 billion and compensations of life insurance reached EGP 2.1 billion
