• Farid directs the insurance pool to increase the amount of compensation to EGP 50,000 instead of EGP 30,000 on an exceptional basis

Dr. Mohamed Farid- FRA Chairman ordered the Insurance Pool to pay immediate compensation for families of each victim in Sharkya train crash.

Dr. Farid emphasized that the value of compensation for the victims of the accident has been adjusted upwards. Families of the deceased will receive EGP 50,000, while injured victims’ compensation will be determined by the extent of their disability.

Dr. Farid conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and wished for a speedy recovery of those injured in the accident.
