Under the Auspices of FRA Chairman and Minister of Youth and Sports: FRA Launches the 7th  CFAT Program for Members of Senate Simulation Model – Thursday 4 September 2025

Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), chaired by Dr. Mohammed Farid, successfully hosted the seventh session of the Certified Financial Awareness Trainer (CFAT) program. Held in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, led by Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, the program took place from August 31 to September 3, 2025, at FRA’s headquarters in Smart Village.

Dr. Mohammed Farid, FRA Chairman emphasized that the program’s implementation is part of the Authority’s regulatory and awareness-raising role to enhance non-banking financial literacy among youth. He pointed out that the Certified Financial Awareness Trainer (CFAT) program is one of the most important tools FRA uses to build a new generation of youth leaders capable of spreading financial awareness throughout society, especially in youth centers and youth development centers all over Egypt.

Dr. Mohammed Farid, FRA Chairman highlighted that the program has already created a new generation of youth trainers. These trainers are now actively sharing their financial knowledge with their peers, a key step in the nation’s push for financial inclusion and economic stability.

On the other hand, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy,  Minister of Youth and Sports, praised the ongoing partnership with FRA. He confirmed that the Ministry will dedicate its resources to bring these initiatives to youth centers and financial clubs across Egypt, empowering young people with a deeper understanding of non-banking financial services.

Additionally, participants from the Egyptian Senate simulation model expressed their gratitude to both FRA and the Ministry for the high-quality training. They emphasized that such initiatives are vital for refining their skills and enabling them to better serve their communities.

The 7th session’s curriculum was comprehensive, covering key topics such as personal finance, capital markets, insurance, real estate finance, financial leasing, factoring, consumer finance, MSMEs finance, movable collaterals and sustainable finance.
