In collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Alexandria University, FRA held an awareness lecture titled: “FRA’s Role and Non-Bank Financial Activities.” The lecture highlighted FRA’s role in developing and expanding supervised non-bank financial activities through regulatory tools that mitigate risk, promote financial literacy and safeguard the rights of all stakeholders.
Dr. Ahmed Wahban, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Marwa Khalil, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and Dr. Mohamed El-Khatib, Executive Director of the Training and Qualification Unit for the Labor Market attended the lecture. In addition to Faculty members, teaching assistants and over 140 first-year students from the Economics and Political Science Departments.
This lecture is part of a series of awareness events held by the Authority in several Egyptian universities, within the framework of its strategic plan to enhance financial literacy among youth and empower them to make informed financial decisions that support sustainable economic development. This initiative also complements the Authority’s work to enhance financial, investment and insurance inclusion by spreading financial literacy, thereby expanding number of beneficiaries.
