FRA Participates in World Investor Week (WIW) 2025 – Wednesday 29 October 2025

FRA takes part in World Investor Week (WIW) 2025 an annual event hosted by (IOSCO), the organization responsible for establishing international financial market standards and comprising regulatory authorities from multiple countries worldwide.

Combating financial fraud by spreading awareness about common fraud methods, detecting them and ways to protect individuals from illegal practices.

FinTech as one of the most prominent modern trends in financial services, offering broader opportunities for financial inclusion and providing innovative and secure solutions for investors.

Artificial intelligence (AI) in financial services and its growing role in supporting investment decision-making, financial data analysis, early risk detection, contributing to market efficiency and improvinvestor Week (WIW) 2025 is an international initiative aimed at raising public financial and investment awareness, encouraging investors to make informed financial decisions based on knowledge, with a focus on protecting investors’ rights and promoting a culture of safe interaction with financial instruments.
This year’s week focuses on three main topics:ng investors’ experience.

Within the week’s activities, FRA carries out a range of awareness activities, lectures and interactive programs addressed to the public and FRA’s staff, alongside spreading educational content through social media to simplify financial concepts and spread investment knowledge.

So far, the Authority has organized two virtual courses on mutual funds, during which Sally George, Head of Mutual Funds DPT, discussed topics related to gold investment funds and real estate investment funds, analyzing the advantages, risks and their role in facing market fluctuations. A lecture was also held on the impact of artificial intelligence on the capital market, presented by Engineer Tarek Fathy – Senior Advisor to FRA Chairman for Information Technology – covering the importance of AI, its benefits, challenges and its impact on investor decisions.

The Authority’s participation in this global event confirms its leading role in supporting efforts to raise awareness of non-banking financial activities and spreading financial literacy among different segments of society, especially youth and university students, alongside protecting market participants and enhancing financial inclusion in Egypt.
