FRA Chairman Participated in the Bell Ringing Ceremony at London Stock Exchange, Marking the Launch of “Egypt Day” – Wednesday 16 July 2025

Dr. Mohamed Farid, FRA Chairman participated in the Bell Ringing Ceremony at the London Stock Exchange, marking the launch of “Egypt Day” in the United Kingdom. His participation was a key part of an official Egyptian delegation’s promotional tour, organized by the British Egyptian Business Association (BEBA) and aptly titled “Egypt’s New Era… Investment Opportunities.”

The esteemed delegation included prominent figures such as Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Finance; Ramy Aboul Naga, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE); Ghada Nour, Assistant Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade. In addition to Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Assistant to FRA Chairman; Noha Khalil, Acting CEO of the Sovereign Fund of Egypt (SFE); Heba El Serafi, Vice Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange; Dr. Tarek Seif, Executive Director of the Financial Services Institute ( FRA’s training arm); and various other leaders from governmental bodies.

The “Egypt Day” agenda includes joint meetings between the Egyptian delegation and prominent UK business leaders, investors and key figures. This offers a prime opportunity to foster cooperation with British companies and gain insights into Egypt’s financial, regulatory and investment strategies and vision, particularly following significant economic reforms.

This participation underscores FRA’s continuous commitment to deepen strategic partnerships with relevant international institutions. The Authority aims to exchange expertise and knowledge to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of the Egyptian Capital Market. Ultimately, this seeks to attract increased local and foreign investments, bolster Capital Market’s role in supporting the national economy and Egypt’s Vision 2030 and integrate optimal global practices.The agenda includes joint meetings between the Egyptian delegation and prominent business leaders, investors and key figures in the United Kingdom.
