FRA Extends Deadline for Submitting Insurance Sector Periodic Financial Statements to June 30 – Wednesday 24 June 2026

FRA Board of Directors chaired by Dr. Islam Azzam, has issued a Resolution extending the deadline for insurance companies and insurance pools to submit their periodic financial statements for the period ending March 31, 2026, to June 30, 2026.

The Resolution officially extends the submission window for the periodic financial statements, accompanying disclosures, and the external auditor’s report for the financial period ending March 31, 2026, setting a final deadline of June 30, 2026.

This step falls within the Authority’s ongoing efforts to streamline operations for companies operating in the insurance sector. By extending the timeframe, FRA aims to provide sufficient opportunity for entities to prepare their financial statements, attached disclosures, and auditing reports in full compliance with the Unified Insurance Law No. 155 of 2024 and the regulatory resolutions issued by the Authority.

Notably, FRA has recently finalized the comprehensive regulatory framework for the insurance sector, spanning its various activities and entities—including companies, funds, pools, professional roles, and auxiliary bodies—to ensure the robust implementation of all provisions under the Unified Insurance Law No. 155 of 2024. Furthermore, FRA Chairman Dr. Islam Azzam recently engaged in an extensive community dialogue with representatives from all insurance professions and activities, introducing supportive initiatives and policies designed to elevate the insurance market’s efficiency, drive social protection goals, and enhance financial sustainability and economic inclusion.
