FRA’s Q2 2024 reports revealed that total funding allocated through capital market and non-bank financial activities reached EGP 243 billion as follows:
- EGP 148.9 billion Stock Issuances
- EGP 11.3 billion other issuances
- EGP 25.8 billion Financial leasing contracts
- EGP 20 billion funding provided for MSMEs
- EGP 12.1 billion consumer finance
- EGP 18.7 billion factoring activity
- EGP 6.4 billion real estate finance
- EGP 2.7 trillion is the value of movable assets registered at Egyptian Collaterals Registry in the second quarter of 2024.
- MSMEs funding balances reached EGP 65.2 billion
- Insurance premiums had amassed a total of EGP 21.6 billion in the second quarter of 2024.
- Compensations paid by the insurance sector reached EGP 9.4 billion during the same period.
- Private insurance funds’ Investments reached EGP 24.3 billion in the second quarter of 2024.
FRA’s latest reports issued for the second quarter of 2024 shows that property and liability insurance premiums amounted to EGP 11.7 billion, whereas premiums of life insurance amounted to EGP 9.9 billion in the second quarter of 2024.
Moreover, compensations value reached EGP 9.4 billion in the second quarter of 2024, distributed as follows : compensations of property insurance amounted to EGP 4.6 billion and compensations of life insurance reached EGP 4.8 billion.
