FRA’s latest reports, for January 2024, showed that the total funding granted through Capital Market and non-bank financial activities amounted to LE 69.5 billion as follows:
EGP 40.5 billion Stock Issuances
EGP 3.8 billion other issuances
EGP 8.1 billion Financial leasing contracts
EGP 7.1billion funding provided for MSMEs
EGP 4.8 billion consumer finance
EGP 3.8 billion factoring activity
EGP 1.4 billion real estate finance
EGP 5 Trillion movable assets registered at Egyptian Collaterals Registry by January 2024
- By the end of January 2024, MSMEs funding balances reached EGP 9 billion
- In addition , insurance premiums had amassed a total of EGP 8.4 billion.
- Moreover, compensations paid by the insurance sector reached EGP 3.6 billion during the same period. Private insurance funds’ Investments reached EGP 3.4 billion during January 2024
- FRA’s latest reports issued for January 2024 shows that insurance premiums amounted to EGP 8.38 billion.
- Premiums of property insurance reached EGP 4.4 billion , whereas premiums of life insurance amounted to EGP 4.0 billion by the end of January 2024.
Moreover, compensations value reached EGP 3.6 billion by the end of January 2024 , distributed as follows : compensations of property insurance amounted to EGP 1.7.billion and compensations of life insurance reached EGP 1.9 billion
