The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) is pleased to extend its warmest congratulations to you on the occasion of the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr.

We would like to inform you that, pursuant to Law No. (141) of 2019 amending certain provisions of Investment Law No. (72) of 2017—which authorizes GAFI to request the data and information necessary to calculate foreign investment assets from both public and private entities for statistical purposes—and in accordance with Prime Ministerial Decrees No. (2731) and No. (2732) of 2019 amending the Executive Regulations of the Investment Law, all companies operating in the Arab Republic of Egypt are required to complete the quarterly statistical form attached to the said decree on a regular basis within 45 days from the end of each quarter.

Please also note that, in accordance with Article (91 bis) of the aforementioned law, the person responsible for the actual management of the legal entity shall be subject to a fine not exceeding EGP 50,000 in the event of non-compliance.
Kindly be advised that the submission period for the quarterly statistical form for the first quarter (January–March) of 2024, ending on 31 March 2024, will commence on Monday, 1 April 2024, and will remain open for 45 days, ending on 15 May 2024.

Please use the updated form available at the links below when completing the quarterly data, noting that a new field has been added for non-operating profits or losses (e.g., foreign exchange differences, revaluation gains/losses):
