As part of the Financial Regulatory Authority’s keenness to enhance non-banking financial literacy among Egyptian university students, FRA is pleased to commence the application process for its Summer Internship Program, inviting qualified students to apply across the following specializations and in accordance with these regulatory guidelines:
- General Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a student at a university or college accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities.
- Applicant must be enrolled in their second or third academic year (or a transitional year, depending on the nature of the degree program).
- Applicant must have achieved a minimum grade of “Very Good” (or equivalent) in the previous academic year.
- Applicant must be a resident of Cairo or Giza governorates (as verified by the address on their National ID card).
- Target Academic Specializations:
FRA is seeking students from the following faculties and specializations:
- Economics & Political Science: Economics and Statistics.
- Commerce: Accounting, Insurance, Actuarial Science and Finance.
- Computers & Information Technology.
- Mass Communication: Public Relations and Media.
- Law.
III. Internship Duration
The internship lasts for one month per group, starting from Wednesday 1/7/ 2026 until Wednesday 30 /9/2026 (divided into three consecutive batches).
- Application Timeline
The application window is open from 14/5/2026 to 25/5/2026.
- Required Documents
- Copy of the National ID.
- Official Certificate of Enrollment (issued by the university).
- Proof of GPA or grade for the latest academic year.
- General Regulations
- The first week includes an essential training course. Interns will undergo an evaluation to determine their placement within specific FRA sectors.
- A maximum of two days of leave is permitted per month (excluding official holidays).
- Upon successful completion, interns will receive an accredited performance certificate.
- Daily training hours are from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- FRA does not provide transportation or accommodation for interns.
- FRA reserves the right to terminate or cancel the internship for any student in the event of failure to adhere to FRA Code of Conduct or any violation thereof; in such cases, the student will be disqualified from receiving the internship certificate.
- Each intern will be provided with a copy of the Code of Conduct.
