FRA is responsible for supervising and regulating non-banking financial markets and instruments, including Capital Market, Futures Exchanges, Insurance Activities, Mortgage Finance, Financial Leasing, Factoring, and Securitization. FRA plays a pivotal role in ensuring stability and soundness of these markets and boosting their competitiveness to attract further domestic and foreign investments. FRA also works on reducing risks resulting from the lack of coordination, in addition to addressing problems emanating from the presence of different regulatory methods.<br>FRA replaced the Egyptian Insurance Supervisory Authority (EISA), the Capital Market Authority (CMA), and the Mortgage Finance Authority (MFA). It applies the provisions of Law no. 10 of 1981 on Insurance Supervision and Control, Capital Market Law no. 95 of 1992, Central Depository and Registry Law no. 93 of 2000, Mortgage Finance Law no. 148 of 2001, as well as other related laws and decrees that are part of FRA\u2019s terms of reference. In addition, FRA is the competent authority that applies the provisions of Financial Leasing Law no. 95 of 1995.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FRA\u2019s Objectives and Terms of Reference<\/strong><br><strong>Objectives<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><br>\u2022&nbsp; Maintaining stability and soundness of non-banking financial markets.<br>\u2022 Regulating and developing non-banking financial markets.<br>\u2022 Protecting rights of stakeholders.&nbsp;<br>\u2022 Issuing various means, systems, and rules ensuring efficiency and transparency of these markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Terms of Reference:<\/strong><br>\u2022 Licensing entities to operate in non-banking financial activities.<br>\u2022 Inspecting licensed entities operating in non-banking financial activities.<br>\u2022 Regulating the dissemination of information related to non-banking financial markets.<br>\u2022 Ensuring transparency and competitiveness of non-banking financial services through applying sound rules and regulations.\u00a0<br>\u2022 Protecting rights of non-banking financial market stakeholders.\u00a0<br>\u2022 Taking necessary actions to curb market manipulation and fraud.<br>\u2022 Supervising training of market participants and sharpening their skills.<br>\u2022 Cooperating and coordinating with other non-banking regulatory bodies abroad to develop and boost efficiency and effectiveness of supervision means and methods in non-banking financial markets.<br>\u2022 Communicating, cooperating, and coordinating with societies and organizations, which organize work of financial regulatory authorities across the globe in an effort to sustain FRA\u2019s capabilities in alignment with best international practices.<br>\u2022 Contributing to disseminating investment culture and financial awareness.\u00a0<br>\u2022\u00a0 Along with the terms of references mentioned in Law no. 10 of 1981 on Insurance Supervision and Control, Capital Market Law no. 95 of 1992, Central Depository and Registry Law no. 93 of 2000, Mortgage Finance Law no. 148 of 2001, Microfinance Law no.141 of 2014, and Financial Leasing and Factoring Law no.176 of 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Our Aims<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Stability and Integrity of non-banking financial markets<\/li><li>Regulation and development of non-banking financial markets<\/li><li>Protecting investors &amp;
