The summit brings together senior government representatives, FinTech innovators, institutional investors and non-banking financial sector (NBFS) leaders to advance digital innovation.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The event reflects FRA\u2019s commitment to continuous engagement with industry leaders, private sector institutions and startups across regulated non-banking financial activities. The summit will highlight inaugural-year success stories; highlight groundbreaking projects developed within the Sandbox.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Additionally, discussions will center on the future of FinTech, its role in developing non-banking financial services and products and its contribution to accelerate financial inclusion and digital transformation in the coming period.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">During its first year, the Sandbox received applications from approximately 49 projects. Of these, 7 received preliminary approval and 2 advanced to actual live testing\u2014marking a critical transition from conceptual validation to live deployment within a controlled regulatory environment.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Dr. Islam Azzam, FRA Chairman emphasized that the Regulatory Sandbox was established as an open, flexible, and secure environment. It allows market participants and entrepreneurs to test and refine innovative tech solutions while ensuring full compliance with existing legislative and regulatory frameworks. He noted that the Sandbox is a primary mechanism relied upon by the Authority to foster innovation in non-banking financial activities. It provides regulatory guidance, raises awareness on applicable laws and regulations, promotes knowledge sharing and organizes initiatives, events and innovation competitions that connect innovators and startups with financial institutions, investors, universities and research centers.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">He added that in the next phase, FRA aims to further develop the Sandbox into a regional and international hub for FinTech, boosting the Egyptian non-banking financial sector\u2019s global standing while attracting increased investment and cutting-edge digital solutions.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Dr. Islam Azzam reaffirmed that FRA\u2019s focus on FinTech stems from its pivotal role in empowering companies to build adaptive financial products tailored to evolving socio-economic needs. This growth expands financial inclusion and deepens market activity, while maintaining strict standards to safeguard market participants, secure data and preserve market stability.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Eng.
